Where it is

Al Safa 1 sits between Al Wasl Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, on the Jumeirah side of the city. It is one of the more central locations in Dubai for a specialist clinic: within a few minutes of Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and Al Wasl, a short run along Sheikh Zayed Road from Downtown Dubai, Business Bay and DIFC, and reachable from Dubai Marina, Al Barsha and Dubai Hills without crossing the creek.

Patients also travel in from Sharjah — usually 35 to 60 minutes outside peak hours — and from Abu Dhabi, typically 75 to 110 minutes on the E11. Appointments for patients making that journey are scheduled to reduce the number of trips wherever the treatment allows.

Parking and access

  • Parking is available at the medical centre; on-street paid parking is also available in the surrounding streets.
  • The building is reachable by taxi and ride-hailing; give the driver "Manhal Medical Center, Al Safa 1".
  • If you have mobility requirements, tell the clinic when you book so the appointment can be arranged accordingly.

What to bring to a first appointment

  • Emirates ID or passport, and your insurance card if you intend to claim.
  • Any previous orthodontic records, study models, photographs, X-rays or CBCT scans — including from treatment abroad. These often save repeating imaging.
  • A referral letter, if a dentist, ENT surgeon or sleep physician sent you.
  • A list of your current medications and any relevant medical diagnoses, particularly a sleep study result if you have had one.
  • For a child: the parent or guardian who will consent to treatment.
